Built between 1921-1922 by Petre Antonescu, near Aviatorilor Square (Piata) it is 29 m height and is a copy of Triumph Arch from Paris. The idea was to celebrate the win of the First World War as Allies member. The population and war associations paid for this monument. The tradition is that if you want to have a happy marriage, you must take a picture there, on your wedding day.
